Terms of Service

Fincap Advisors (“Fincap”, “we”, “us”) provides fractional CFO, COO and CTO advisory services. Nathan C. Parkins is a registered financial advisor. Questions about these terms: nathan@fincapadvisors.co.

Paid advisory work (such as Discover & Diagnose or an Advise & Align retainer) is governed by the separate engagement agreement you sign with us. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the engagement agreement controls.

Content on the site, including articles, videos and evaluator results, is general information for planning. It is not investment, tax, legal or accounting advice for your situation, and it does not create an advisory relationship. Talk to us, or another qualified professional, before acting on it.

The evaluator estimates what a new business or an acquisition might cost and earn, from your answers and typical industry figures. Free reports are produced automatically and are not reviewed by Fincap. Some models are drafted with the help of artificial intelligence; we review models before adding them to our library, but a model drafted for your idea may not have been reviewed yet.

Estimates depend on your inputs and assumptions, and actual results will differ. Don't rely on them alone to sign a lease, borrow, invest or buy a business. To keep the evaluator available to everyone, we limit how many models can be built per person and per day.

You can buy a detailed report reviewed by Fincap, alone or with a review meeting, at the price shown when you order. Payment is taken by our payment processor, Stripe, when you order. Once you've paid, your answers are locked while we review them, and we add the report to your account when it's ready; if you bought a review meeting, we'll contact you to schedule it.

A detailed report is a written review of your model for planning purposes, subject to section 3. If there's a problem with an order, contact nathan@fincapadvisors.co.

• You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
• Give us accurate information, and only upload documents you have the right to share.
• Fincap clients' access, and who on your team can see what, is managed by your company's owners and by Fincap.
• We may suspend or close an account that's misused or that breaks these terms.

Don't try to break, overload, scrape or get around the security or usage limits of the site, use it to build a competing product, or use it for anything unlawful.

The site, including its text, videos, models and software, belongs to Fincap or its licensors. You may use your own reports and models for your business; please don't copy, resell or redistribute the site's content without our permission.

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and Fincap is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using the site's estimates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA.
